Because of that request both LSU and A&M will have to either play 11 straight weeks or take the bye before the short week. How dead set are y'all on that time slot?

Lets set up a rotation for the Thanksgiving night slot when the TAMU is home....let the rest of the SEC share the holiday spirit with the Aggies as well (and see how long it lasts when the REC gets on their batphone to Birmingham)

We only do it because you hate it. We'll freely give it up the day LSU stops bitching about it. So basically never.

I think TAMU will give it up when the school sees that is now the NFL's time slot. Previously worked nicely because you would have Cowboys and Lions play at noon and 3 and then at night it was college football.

No longer the case. NFL is now doing night games, which I am guessing means ratings will be better on Friday or Saturday.

We should have some info on that by comparing ratings of this year's game to next year (whether it is Fri or Sat at LSU I am not sure?).

That is my serious answer. tRant answer: when we fricking feel like it.

Sure. I just wonder how long y'all go along with it when your team isn't really built to endure 11 straight weeks.

These quotes are almost sig worthy, but no one would know the context

How does losing to LSU on the reg equate to being bullied by A&M?

I would have preferred keeping that slot open for tu when we eventually play them again. Until that time it makes absolutely no sense to force that tradition of ours on LSU.

They aren't tu, playing a game the same day we played tu doesn't replace what we lost.

Plus we got suck in Jerry World for another 10 years vs piglet because of it...

I'm all for moving it to the Saturday after Turkey day

College football just needs to give way to the NFL that day. Way too many potential big games to make any team play it on such a short week.

When we force you to do something you don't want to do. That is bullying

Post less.

"Oh here, sir, I saved you a seat. I was hoping you'd come back. I missed and obsessed over you so much."

That is what you sound like.

Not sure that has been disclosed, but since it is a home-and-home then I would think ESPN could choose to move this game if everyone agreed, no? Especially given that years it is at LSU it will not be on Thanksgiving.

Though I am fairly ignorant on it.

I do not agree with everything you say, but you make solid points. Ignore BigD. He is just trying to fit in with all the rednecks and hillbillies.

Usually there is some sort of contract on the day. I didnt know if yall had anything more than a year in said contract since its at LSU on Saturday for their home game of the series. ESPN only decides what day to put it on with what the schools desires. Really all ESPN decides is what time it will be on a certain day
