Trying to rustle as many maroon/rebel Jimmies as can be rustled today.... so it comes down to which QB scenario would be worse for its team....

Bo Wallace going down for the season

Dak Prescott going down for the season

it'd work a lot better if you don't lead off with this

Honestly, as good as Prescott is, if Bo goes down OM's season is over. State has a really strong running game to fall back on.

Dak is.

The reason JR runs so well is because of the threat of Dak keeping it. You saw what their offense was like last year with Damien. OM has the more complete defense so they could lean on them more than state could. State may believe they can just hand the ball of the Josh and be fine, but without Dak, he isnt going anywhere.

Without Prescott MSU wouldn't have this type of success and Bo doesn't play great at times

Ole Miss wasn't good with Bo when he had a nagging injury, but he still played if that tells you how it would be without him.

You really think State can continue success without Dak? I fully admit our success hinges complete on how Bo goes, but without Dak State is not #1.

They're both equally valuable. If either went down they'd put in inexperienced backups and run a whole bunch.

Dak is Mississippi State's entire offense. They may not realize it yet, but Dak is Mississippi State's entire offense.

It tells you that a returning QB that led a team to 8 wins is better than a true freshman. We wont know for sure until next year, but I really like RB with that defense.

Ah, yes, the "Robinson isn't actually an elite RB and is actually not as good as our 6 backs" reply...

He very well may lead the SEC in yards after contact. I'm sure this would change and he would start going down on first contact if someone different was handing him the ball...

Dak and it's not close. He makes that offense go.
The strength of Ole Miss is your defense. It would hurt more to lose your best dlineman than bo

this is becoming pathetic. MS has two good football teams. We get it.

Did you just quote something that no one even came close to saying?

We definitely wouldn't be #1. Just saying I think we would limp through the schedule. Our backups are serviceable, Williams has SEC experience.

And FTR, I dont think Josh would be the problem. He's a top 4 back. But he would not be near as productive without the best running QB in the nation running the option with him. No one can disagree with that. People would add another defender in the box, and Josh would not be able to carry the offense. I dont think thats crazy to say.
