It was James Franklin last year. I guess I'd have to go with Butch Jones with his whole grocery-store parking lot car dealership vibe.

Hugh Freeze according to some people on a message board i will refrain from naming. They call him anything from a fake christian to a snake in the grass. Oh they were quite pissed after Freeze made his statements today.

Bert, from that players get hurt from HUNH, to the targeting an injured player bullshite.
I dont think he meant it the way he said it, and after seeing him on tv a few times this year he doesn't seem that bad of a guy. But that shite kind of hurt him.

I would be very surprised if CBJ is the slimiest coach in the SEC.
Now that Franklin and Petrino are gone, I can't really think of any truly slimy coaches in the SEC.

Where is the "Butch is a slimy coach" coming from? Ole Miss and Tennessee's recruiting success? I'd attribute that to the boosters at each school.

I've spoken to Butch Jones. He is naturally energetic and charismatic. Very likeable guy, plus he relates extremely well to recruits and players.
I believe all SEC schools have bagmen, but recruiting is a skill just like coaching is. CBJ and CHF are both elite recruiters. They both would likely be great car salesmen, marketers, etc.
Charisma doesn't equate to slimy.
