The top 3 underachieving athletic programs

1-Texas A&M. 1 title in the big 3 sports. Have all the resources in the world to be successful, are located in probably the best state for recruiting, and they still haven't won anything. They really haven't been competitive in basketball, baseball or football for the majority of their history. I think this is an easy number 1 choice, but I had a few reservations since they are lil bro of Texas.
2-Georgia. No explanation needed. They've never won jack and Georgia is a state with all types of recruiting advantages in baseball and football.
3-Arizona State. They should be more successful, and have had some bad years across several sports. Perpetual underachievers.

Maybe it has more to do with media hype and perception. I always feel like Arizona State is hyped to be good in baseball, basketball and football and they always fall short.

I disagree with Georgia being in there. OK, few NC's in football but that could change; they field some damn good teams. and they suck in basketball and baseball. but they have some other teams that are perienial greats. like Tennis.
and the more I think about it maybe they should be in there. they suck at track and golf too.
so it's down to tennis. Georgia is a damn strong tennis school.

I think #3 would be Virginia Tech. They are basically the Aggies with less of a talent pool to pull from.
