Does LSU catch UK looking ahead to State?

With the 5-1 Eastern division favorite coming to BR to face arguably the worst team in the West, the week before facing the #1 Mississippi St Bulldogs, can LSU pull off the upset? Can Kentucky get up for a game against a non ranked opponent the week before a CBS prime time SEC championship preview clash of the titans? I'm hoping for a competitive game.

This is my biggest fear. This UK team is under a lot of pressure and the UK/MSU game is looking like a preview of the SEC Championship game in Atlanta.
UK could easily get caught looking ahead against a scrappy LSU team at home.

I sure hope so man. Kentucky vs State is always a huge cross divisional matchup with post season implications. We are fortunate to be scheduled the week before that game this year.

Not likely, I am guessing a team that hasn't enjoyed this kind of success in a while is taking it one game at a time.

I'm worried LSU can't get up for a game against an unranked opponent :(

I bet that hurt a lot to say, but admitting the truth will set you free. Kudos for you for starting your road to acceptance.

If it makes you feel better, I honestly came into this thread to say the same thing. Glad I read a couple of posts first.

Pretty stout tbh. Held Ohio to 74 yards (2.6 YPC), Vanderbilt to 54 yards (2.4 YPC) and UL-M to 77 yards (1.93 YPC).
Haven't watched any of the other games, but I assume the run defense was strong in those as well. 5-1 record says it all, really.
Should be 6-0 if Muschamp didn't pay off the refs in Gainsville.
