What is your favorite scenario if your team can't win it?

I would love to see a two loss SEC champion win it all. Maybe three SEC West teams all tie with 2 losses and the tiebreaker goes to State, and they win the playoffs.

Whatever happens, I predict two things:

1. A lot of people are assuming the "playoff" is going to clear everything up, and it's going to be just as screwed up as ever picking the top 4.

2. There are going to be some pissed off SEC fans when one or two of our deserving teams are left out in favor of an unimpressive conference champ and/or Notre Dame.

2 loss sec champion even making in the playoffs, let alone winning it all, would cause national angst similar to the rematch.

Driskel going to the minor leagues.
Florida hiring a proven big time coach to replace the ineptitude and "malaise" that has overtaken the Gators.

But there is no freaking way we could win it, barring some miracle of epic proportions. I mean, it could happen if everyone implodes, but the chances are slim to none.

Agree Tiguar. I don't think it's plausible for a 3 loss SEC champ to get in, or that would be my favorite. But it would be hard to keep out a 2 loss SEC champ after all the talk about wanting conference champs represented.

In fact, I don't see a scenario where it CAN be clear cut this year.

Unbeaten Ole Miss or Miss St makes SECCG only to be beaten by a 3 loss Kentucky team.

MSU I guess. I can't say I like them, but I don't ever see them in real life so I don't think the result would be too annoying. And it wouldn't be bad to tout how a traditional 7th/8th best team in the SEC rolled through the first playoff.

My fav scenario would be this:

State wins out, Ole Miss only loss is State in a close one.

State seeded 1, Ole Miss seeded 3
State loses to Notre Dame, Ole Miss loses to Baylor.

If Georgia can't win the East... It would be nice to see Kentucky get some football love.

As long as Bama and Auburn don't win the West and one of the Mississippi schools win it that would be great for the conference.

As far as the playoff, I think no matter who gets in they will deserve it and it will be tough for any team to win those 2 playoff games even if it's vs FSU and ND. I think messing up the 4/5 spot in the playoff will be much better than messing up the 2/3 spot in the BCS!
