Mostly in part because we can't get a push up the middle... Our Oline was making nice holes last year and Tre is still running, but this year it's killing us on the edges... We are hardly getting around the edge this year, how do we fix this? Also, a lot of plays yesterday states dbs were cheating up and stopping the run...

the WR group and the H back are not blocking as well as last year.

Prosch was probably one of the best fullbacks in CFB in the last 10 years

We actually try to run on the edge.

I think CG had 1 carry yesterday it was well defended and still went for 8 yards. Then we went back to one yard up the middle.

Our offense feels like a big ole bucket of untapped potential.

ding ding ding.

Prosch was a huge part of the offense last year. It hurts to have lost a couple linemen this year but losing Prosch was the biggest thing. Fulse hasn't been a tenth of what Prosch was last year.

Second is that we have lost linemen and have been shifting guys around several times this year. This hurts since we haven't been able to establish a consistent line and gel into their spots.

Thirdly, CAP just isn't Mason. CAP is a solid back and extremely serviceable for the offense, but he isn't Mason.

This is the answer

We ran like 1 speed sweep. Marshall kept a few. The rest was right up the gut

We need to try and stretch the field Moore

Is there any explanation from someone close to the team why Corey Grant has been shunned the last couple of weeks? He's produced every time he's given a chance.

Adjust the playbook.

That is my expert opinion.

Grant, Barber and Roc have hardly been used. Roc finally gets to play and appears to be having success then disappears. And on this same topic can someone answer what happened to Melvin Ray?

I think Gus likes going with one primary back. The problem with that is CAP isn't Tre... Tre was a perfect mix of grant and CAP... He ran hard with a lot of speed...

Roc is a true freshman and Barber is a clear #3. Grant is an established player who has huge for us last year and was supposedly going to be given a larger role with CAP not being as good as Mason.

It makes no sense for his role to diminish when we are struggling to run the ball the way we were last year.

Roc has a build more like Tre than CAP. It's not as bulky but can still break tackles.

If we begin to run it up the middle better, the outside will open as the D will cheat in and vise versa. We are missing Greg and Jay...they were HUGE for us when it came to blocking last year.

He seems slippery to me. Combine it with his go to spin move and he is fun to watch. Spin move in particular looks like the Tasmanian devil

You're right about running up the middle... It makes those d ends and lbs cheat inside when we aggressively run it up the middle... That's our main problem, I also think teams like KSU are cheating their dbs up to take that run away leaving us with a lot of one on one situations... So maybe we need to start passing to open that back up...

I don't know why but I cringe when I see that spin move

I do too but it always seems to be a spin going forward for a few. How he doesn't throw up from dizziness is beyond me too

We haven't really been pulling linemen either. Probably due to personnel strengths, but it seems we hardly run those off tackle power runs where we pull 2 linemen.

That's because it seems the risk of fumbling increases.
