"I think the thing that motivated us, helped us play so hard this week, was the loss (to Mississippi)," Sims said. "The loss hurt us so bad, because we knew we (were) probably better than the other team."

We get our asses kicked by Ole Miss, deserved to lose against Arkansas, and yet post-game we still have senior leadership making statements like that. This team is entitled as hell.

Any Bama fan still disagree with what I said on here last week? This team is nothing. This is an 8-4 or 9-3 team who still thinks it is the best team in the nation who can give 50% and still win.

I have two questions for Blake Sims:

1. Do you really think Bama played "so hard" against Arkansas? Especially the offense and o-line...

2. Do you truly still think Alabama is a better team than Ole Miss? After the Arkansas game you should be thinking how fortunate Bama was to not get blown out by 21+ points in Oxford and in Fayetteville.

Yes they played hard, or are you one of the people who think this team doesn't care?

You can ask him on twitter. Just a hunch but I doubt he's going to read this thread.

I thought Saban was going to kill someone yesterday on the sidelines. When the punt hit the Bama player and the Hogs recovered Saban looked like he was near critical pressure.

I wouldn't be worried if OM had to play Alabama again

Yeah at least Saban got pissed and his hair - I've never seen it that bad.

Our o-line was totally mauled against an average d-line. That's not playing hard. That's not an overwhelming need to win and defeat the man in front of you.

This team will never recover from this streak of shitty play until we face the reality that we are currently a mid-level SEC team and to beat anyone we will have to play our best game and want it more. We need an underdog mentality since that is what we should be against aTm, MSU, and Auburn.

So Arkansas' Defense had no role in Bama having one of their lowest offensive outputs under Saban?

Watching the game it was clear Arkansas out bama'd bama then beat themselves.

Oh Arky's Dline played lights out. They wanted it on every play. Our o-line was pitiful. Props to Arky on that.

We are better than Ole Miss, but gave ip 16 points in the kicking game.

We have a qb, that can't take what the defense ia giving, he has no clue how to read a defense, he either throws to Cooper or he's clueless, we get the play snapped 2 seconds before the play clock expires every snap. On the road he just isn't able to handle the pressure.

Seeing ss we only have to get by Tennessee and LSU ( who can't stop the run this year ) I like our chances of improving enough to win out once we get Kelly back.

I am not as down on Bama ss you, ww played 2 road games with a first year qb in the toughest division in all if football.

Our defense gave up only 36 points in those 2 games after the offense and kicking game set up about 24 of those points.

We have to change qbs or Simms has to learn how to read defenses better.

Our o-line is weak this year, especially as banged up as we currently are. The new group needs to figure out a way to gel next game, hoping the home crowd and ability to make calls will help out some. But the team didn't quit last night.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe...just maybe...they just aren't as good as you'd like to think they are, and that it has nothing to do with playing hard? There's not one guy out there who could start ahead of the line of Jones-Warmack-Vlachos-Steen-Fluker. Robinson eventually, maybe.
