Trovon does it because he's a physical corner and this is his first season playing DB since 2009. He's not used to what he can and can't get away with yet. The call on Jones was questionable.

It comes with playing man coverage. Either that or have them play 10 yards off the los.

Calling the O PI then calling it on Jones was effing ridiculous.
The reed one is bullshite but hard to argue because it technically is right if never ever called elsewhere

Because its such a gray area call and on the road the home team typically gets the benefit of touchiness and physicality on making plays for the ball. I was completely happy with our coverage on all of those PI calls except for one by Therezie.
As for the offensive PI.. that was completely and utter bullshite. Even the former VP for NFL officiating agreed.

There were two PI calls against UF late in their game last night that changed that game too. Refs are calling it close this year. We need to throw up more deep balls to take advantage of the refs calling it so much

The offensive one not only didn't have an effect on the outcome of the play nor hindered the DBs movement but was as much or less contact than the DBs hands on Sammie

The fact that our opposing QB's can drink Chi Tea in the pocket is hurting the backend as well. I have been pleasantly surprised by the play of our secondary.

I was ok with the reed call but the other 2 put me at stroke level. gd I am sick of this same group of refs that have been fricking us since the dawn of man. penn wagers, matt austin, this clown yesterday tom ritter, etc... you know who they are. why cant these old mf'ers die off already
