Feeling good with a slight headache. The Dawgs won big yesterday, the Gators got beat at the swomp, Auburn was humbled by a great team that I hope we don't have to play, and the Techies are no longer undefeated. These past two weekends of football is what College Football is all about.

Just hope we can hang on long enough to make it to Atlanta.

Good luck. Titans fans have been down about this game all week and have basically decided a loss to the jags would be catastrophic. And I think it'll happen

1. Great team effort in as Dallas aptly cited, our first road shutout of a ranked opponent.

2. Our defense had their best game so far collecting 5 TO's, and allowed only 50 rushing yards and 97 yards passing in an amazing shutout. Mauger had 2 INT', Sanders and Swann each had 1. Our front 7 played great shutting down the run and putting heavy pressure on Mauk throughout the game forcing a TO that led to a fumble recovery. Floyd sacked Mauk forcing the fumble recovered by Jenkins.

3. Mason had his best outing so far: 22/28 1 TD pass, 1 TD rushing and no TO's. Our OL was very good overall though Mason was under a lot of pressure in the first half.

4. Chubb and Douglas were excellent. Chubb had 38 carries for 143 yards, 3.8 avg, 1 TD an no fumbles. Douglas had impressive 13/65, 5.0 avg, 1 TD and no fumbles.

5. Our receivers were the difference in the offense, consistently making clutch catches that kept the chains moving. This provided enough balance in our offense to keep their defense guessing. Bennett was the leading receiver with 5 catches for 53 yards and a TD. Mitchell was much needed relief with 6 for 27 yards. Chubb caught 4 for 31 yards. Mason spread the ball around with Blazevich, Rome, Hicks, Conley and Davis each having at least one timely catch.

6. Special teams were solid. Morgan made both of his FG's. Barber and Erickson shared punting duty averaging only 34.6 yards. We allowed only 75 kick return yards for 5 kick returns for a 15 yard average. McKenzie returned 5 punts for 43 yards, 8.6 yard average and no fumbles.

7. Main difference in the game: TO's, UGA 0, Mizzou 5

The KO ST's were outstanding...Murphy is one of the best in the country & we shut him down on KO returns.

MU starting field position on KO's...

21 yd line...
23 yd line...
25 yd line (touch back)...
39 yd line (only time we tried to pooch kick it)...
19 yd line...
16 yd line...
25 yd line (touch back)...

Outstanding...

Feel good that I think we have finally locked down a solid lineup in the secondary with Langley Swann Bowman Mauger and Sanders
