Watching CAP gets frustrating, and he's not explosive at all. Roc seems much more athletic, but I haven't seen enough of him to determine if he should be the starter or not. Does he have trouble blocking?

What're your thoughts on our RB situation. A team can certainly change the starting RB without affecting team chemistry too much.

our offense is predicated on the tailback between the tackles, CAP and the O-line aren't getting it done, time for a change and Roc seems much more explosive. If AU keeps being in 2nd and 8 we are gonna lose several games.

I will add CAP seems slow as well. There was a 3rd and 2 late in the game he should have easily picked up, but he went outside and was doomed from there...quite frustrating.

He looked like he was running in quicksand on that play,

CAP to me seems like he takes too much time reading the line and being patient

ROC viciously attacks the LOS and is great spinning through small holes for at least 3

He averaged 7 ypc. No possible way he did not earn more touches. It can't be paid blocking because we barely do that with backs, and never did it with mason last year.

Cap is slow and cannot seem to find holes. Grant is worthless between the tackles. Hopefully the off week brings some changes before our tuneup game with south Carolina.

Roc gave our offense a spark that CAP didn't, he earned more snaps.

Yes to this. I was wanting to stand by CAP and think he is a solid back. However, with the struggles we are having at run blocking I am now on board for Roc to come in. Kid can get downfield fast. I thought Gus should have let him go for a bit and let him get into a rhythm.

Grant would be super effective with Johnson at QB otherwise him and NM together make it not great

CAP with an elite OL would be ridiculous. We just don't gave tha .

ROC looks great

Peyton Barber has disappeared

Can't stats:

I don't get some of those numbers, his first down yardage shouldn't be higher than 2-3 yards on average.

I think Gus needs a spark and now is the time to retool.

Has more to do with him getting some big runs skewing the stats. Outliers mess with things

Look at his red zone numbers. Like 2.7 YPC

CAP is actually solid outside the redzone is almost never the reason we stall ou . His 3 rd down running is pretty good too.

Well, Mike Dyer took over as the starter against South Crackalaky in 2010. Just too bad Cam isn't the QB as well.

We sprinkled OMac in too. It was extremely effective with the Can inverted veer or read option as they had to respect the inside run game.

Same thing that killed us with the Dak attack

I've been saying it for weeks and some of you who shall remain nameless called me an idiot for it. It's been obvious since the Arky game that CAP just isn't a good fit for this offense. This offense is made to get players in space and CAP just doesn't have the quickness, vision, or the right moves to get there. Masons skill set was tailor made for this offense. Roc has a similar skill set.

Huh? We rushed for 200+ against arguably the best defensive front in the SEC front.

I've said since day one that Roc should get a lot more carries, but the running game has been fine the last couple of weeks.

I bet Peyton Barber wishes he had stuck with Ole Miss. He would be their feature back this year.

Did you watch the game? Before the big run on the last drive, CAP had 15 rushes for 42 yards. That is awful.
