Should Bama or Auburn be ranked higher?

Bama's only loss was a close game to a good OM team; Auburn got soundly beaten by at-least-as-good-if-not-better MSU. So I'd say Bama ought to be ranked higher.

But then Bama played yesterday. So where should Auburn and Bama be ranked?

I don't think it really matters since they have yet to play each other and now both teams need some help toget to atlanta.

Auburn. They have a top 25 win Bama doesn't.

I think Auburn looks like the better team right now. They should be one behind the other either way imo.

We might spot you 3 TDs. We've done it a couple of times now in big games.

I honestly do not care. On to next week. This is a weekly shite fight thats going to bounce around. Right now cream of the SEC seems to be in Mississippi.

To possibly think that the SEC Championship game might easily be Kentucky vs Miss State would have caused me to accuse you of being retarded before the season. Now that shite looks real.

We'd just blow them all on spinning rims and be broke by halftime.

The Barn's still top ten. #7 is too high for Bama. I'm guessing top 15.

Yesterday was an ugly a win as the last time Mt Cody blocked a Tennessee punt with his armpit hair. (We won the NC that year though.)

Alabama is probably ranked too high as it is. They are playing some ugly football.

Soundly beaten? The only difference in the game is State scored touchdowns and Auburn settled for too many field goals. Auburn had the ball inside State's 10 yard line 4 times and came away with 6 points. The total yards were almost identical

Yeah...I don't get this at all. Equal turnovers. Equal yards. Equal first downs. The big difference was MSU taking advantage of their opportunities better than Auburn and officiating. Without the officiating, this would have been a much closer game on the scoreboard...which is the ONLY metric where this game wasn't extremely close. In the end, even with equal officiating, I think State probably would have won. But I don't get anyone saying Auburn got beat "soundly".

You lost by 15. I consider that a sound beating. If you're going to go by stats instead of the scoreboard, then A&M beat Ole Miss by gaining about a hundred yards more than we did. Really?

And if you're going to revise the score due to officiating lapses, then I suppose OM really beat Bama by two touchdowns instead of only one.
