Maybe germans but I found this website to be fun. It's interesting seeing some of the team comparisons.

Too much going on for me to like that site.
I prefer cfbdatawarehouse for my esoteric football information.
It's as dry and accessible as I'd expect from such an academic endeavor.

It's been my go-to for historical data for 15+ years, and it's still just as dry and graphics-free as it was at the dawn of the 21st century.
For real statistical analysis, nothing beats cfbstats.com
