Anyone else on the rant ever gave a $100 handshakes?

After reading about Gurley signing a few hundred items and getting suspended for it got me thinking. $100 handshakes happen daily but ive never seen anyone busted for it. Ive ran into some USC players and did the shake. Most often I would just say here take your gf out to eat and or fill your gas tank up and thanks for becoming a Gamecock.I dont see the big deal and I think they should get paid for their talents instead of exploited. Anyone else ever do this?
