HOWEVER
@darrenrovell: A search of records from noted autograph authenticator JSA reveals 250 signed Gurley jerseys in a row.
@darrenrovell: Source: Gurley was looking for $8 to $25 a signature. Would accept less if he signed more pieces.
@darrenrovell: Update: Authentication company JSA authenticated at least 500 Gurley signatures (300+ jerseys, 70+ photos, 30+ mini helmets)

SI.com has learned that a person confirmed to Georgia’s compliance office this week that he paid Gurley $400 to sign 80 items on campus in Athens, Ga., one day this past spring. The person claimed to have a photo and video of Gurley signing the items, but neither the photo nor the video showed money changing hands.

Regardless, he's a terrible businessman. 80 for only $400? Come on now.

TG should have had the check written to a "ministry" who in turn could "minister" to him.

So no proof just something from a dealer who can't back up his claim

Chris Burke ?@ChrisBurke_SI 7m7 minutes ago $400 is nothing to sneeze at. For example, it will buy you all four of these "No. 3" Georgia jerseys

CNB making some side change selling his own autograph as Gurley's?

Suspended for $400. He should be able to play. Lol.

It's hard for me to believe that Gurley signed 80 items for $400. That's incredibly stupid on so many levels. There has to be more to the story, there is something off about that information.

If this is the sum total of the allegations,
1) he's a horrible business person.
2) he shouldn't miss more than a half.

20% suspension for 400bucks or 2 games if proven true...but TG2 denies it...I don't know how the hell they will prove it. Play him...

But it's ok to rape and steal at FSU!

$5 per signature? Yeesh Gurley must be really poor to accept that.

Except we have a spineless administration that is bending over backwards for the NCAA.

Honestly, this is just another Heisman slander campaign orchestrated by the media. A game or two suspension and he will be back.

And to kick marines at LSU, and mug students at Bama. Pitiful.
