I'm far more optimistic now. But will still be a close game.

They're still damn good. But don't want no excuses out of their camp. We lost our best play maker too in DGB. It just happened to be before the season.

Yeah. I hope no one in the Mizzou camp let's down or changes anything (like not playing 8-9 in the box).

I thought we were winning the game before the news broke.

Just stick to the plan of making Mason beat us.

I do wonder how this will impact the defensive game plan. It's almost like playing an unknown team at this point.

Can't wait for tRant meltdown if this does boost MO to their second SEC East Championship in a row.

Epic times ahead! Go Tigers!!!

Possible money for autograph...didn't JFF get busted for this and nothing really happened?

Yeah, and we still got the Roided Out White Kid (ROWK) Brendan Douglas who ran for 70 yards on 14 carries (5.0 ypc) against you last year.

And JJ Green (now a DB, but could move back to RB if needed) who ran 87 yds on 12 carries (7.3 ypc) against you last year.

There's also a rumor coming from reliable source that says Gurley will make the trip.... maybe play maybe not...

This could be another Richt Mind-frick on Pinkel.

Please let it be a mindfrick.....

Chubb is legit. He'll probably be the best back on the field. Game plan doesn't change. At least the way I see it.

Advantage of 11 am kickoff as opposed to 8 pm: Gives UGA nine fewer hours to un-suspend Gurley.

I did laugh at this,.......but I am really sorry it happened.

UGA is no more cursed than Mizzou. Dismissing DBG, while correct thing to do, cost us an extremely talented player on same caliber as Gurley.

It's funny how UGA fans praised Pinkel for how he handled the DGB situation, but now that Gurley is suspended they want Richt's head on a pike for taking the moral high ground

EDIT: Then again, two completely different situations...

I hear ya. I'd take everything said during the first 24 hours of a melt with a grain of salt though. After things settle in, most will understand Richt did the best thing for the program. If they want to blame anyone, blame Gurley.

Dismissing DGB was the right thing to do. And suspending Gurley, while it hurts, is the right thing to do too. If they play him, and the investigation turns up more stuff, their games could be forfeited. You think things are messed up now?

Georgia generally handles things in a classy way. And the right way. Sometime that hurts in the SEC, but I have a lot of respect for their program.
