The statement was shocking. Sure, it answers nothing about the rape allegation, but it changes the scenario painted before dramatically.

Well if and that's IF these allegations made by this young woman are proven to be totally without merit and in no way possible because of contradictions by witnesses....I say she get arrested and charged with making false accusation.
If the rape never happened....then she has tried to ruin a young mans life and a strong message needs to be sent to other young women not to accuse males with rape because of other issues and they are consenting all along.
There are a lot of head cases not there...both male and female.

Take it for what it's worth coming from the blackhole of hate and darkness that is Swamp Gas, but someone is saying the charges will be dropped by the girl based on "reliable information."
Coming from over there, I'd say that is reason to perhaps keep an eye on the news, but not a reason to get excited.

Saw that hopefully we will be able to put this behind us. Wonder the reasons of dropping the charges. In other news NY Times about to release article about how FSU hid the Winston alleged rape from the Title 9 office. per the Orlando Sentinel. "The obvious news in this statement is that senior athletic department officials met with Winston and his lawyer one month after the rape occurred then decided to hide it from the Title IX office.

Nope.
What will piss me off more than anything is if this happens:
1) driskel lights it up and destroys LSU
2) Muschamp ends QB controversy
3) Driskel shits the bed for the rest of the season
4) Accuser comes out and admits she made the whole thing up

Let it all play out but I think that girls who make accusations of such a serious nature and its proven by interviews, social media etc etc that she was a consenting sexual partner...then arrest her for false reporting.
Lets support whoever is QB. And if the offense plays up to its potential then we should beat LSU by at least 3 TDs or so with our defense forcing 3 and outs and short field for the O.
