South Carolina fans are now saying Spurrier needs to retire. Dooley got the axe, Steve Kragthorpe got fired. How many teams that have lost to Kentucky either fire their coach or have them resign?

When we lost to Kentucky in 2010, we won the East for the first and only time.

Hold on there, Hoss. Dooley was fired after the Vandy loss ensured a losing season. They hadn't even played UK yet...

Spurrier should have retired after last year, he's not going to be able to replicate that success ever again.

I was talking about losing to UK the year before. Lots of people were calling for his head after the loss.

How long till Derek Mason gets fired? One year, two?

Dan Mullen got four head coaches fired in one year. That's going to be tough for anyone to top.

SC has a stud recruiting class for 2015 (if it sticks). A lot of the guys they recruited for 2014 didn't make the grades to get in (particularly on the D-line) and that's been a big part of the drop off this year.

Oh, and Quarles and Hampton should have stayed.

I wonder if firing Les Miles will be a popular topic after UK beats LSU in Red Stick?

Dooley didn't get the axe until a year later but a lot of fans felt he should've been axed right then and there and not because he lost to a bad Kentucky team but because of how bad our team was and how we lost. What came out from the players - seniors said some on the team weren't playing their hardest only solidified that Dooley had no control over that team or the next team at all.

That was such a weird game. Not one single UK fan knew that we didn't have a QB going into the game.

I sat with my buddy and kept saying that the next drive would be when Joker pulled out the real offense. Then I thought that the beginning of the third quarter, Smith or Newton would come out throwing the ball.

As it turned out we didn't have a healthy QB and Matt Roark (who wasn't even a really good WR) just kept running the Wildcat over and over.
