This may shock some people but I honestly think Florida could run the table in the SEC East. They have a favorable schedule with LSU, Mizzou, and South Carolina at home. If they can get by Georgia and the offense wakes up with Jeff Driskel they could be a scary team going forward. If South Carolina can beat Georgia is definitely possible for Florida to win as well if they shut down Gurley.

If Jeff Driskel doesn't absolutely suck, then we would maybe have a chance. I just don't see him snapping out of it, he is too slow mentally. We lose every remaining SEC game (with the possible exception of Vandy) if our team continues to play the same.

All of our remaining SEC games are definitely winnable. I just don't know where the points will come from to win them.

It all depends on the QB position.

If it continues to suck giant fricking donkey balls like it has the last 2 weeks, UF won't win shite. Vandy will be a tough game in that scenario.

Does everyone not remember the 3 quarters where UF was SHUT THE frick OUT, by TENNESSEE!?!?!

Without a QB, UF is done. Period.

Can Jeff rebound and be that guy?

We will see....

Our only chance to win out at this point is to become a run heavy team. Almost 70% running ratio and then live off the play action and screen game. We are gonna have to become the 2012 Gator offense again but out of the spread formation. Also the weak point of our opponents happen to be their run defense, so we might as well exploit it. The receivers are gonna have to start catching the ball and not dropping every damn thing while Driskel needs to become a 2 read and run type of QB (pre-snap read, check down, takeoff) while implementing a lot of zone reads. JD is not playing good but people dont understand how bad our receivers are. They couldnt catch Ebola in a Nigerian whorehouse. Latroy Pittman needs to ride the pine, he might be the worst slot receiver I have ever seen at UF. He drops every thing. People keep saying well he is a good blocker. Well congratulations, go own down to Sonny's BBQ and pack on some pounds and convert to a lineman then. Last time I checked a wide receivers number one priority is to catch the gotdamn ball. Chris Thompson should be playing the slot. For a spread offense we under utilize the slot receiver more then any other spread attack I have ever seen. The one time we threw to the slot he was wide open against Bama for a touchdown and then we proceed to never ever run that play again. Goolsby needs to be given a chance at TE. He can be a legitimate redzone threat and chain mover. From what I have seen he runs crisp routes and is a good blocker and has better hands then any other TE on the team.

We are just good QB and WR play away from taking the east. The defense has been fixed and simplified, the return units have been ballin, Matt Jones has been beasting, and Austin Hardin is nailing fifty yarders now for crying out loud.

I agree that QB/WR play needs to improve -- and the team needs to support whoever is behind center -- period. If they don't feel like their quarterback is that good, then they need to "block a little harder to give him more time to read the field".

With the defense -- I'm in wait and see mode. I think Tennessee is improved but I also think we just have dynamite short field defense. If we could just give the enemy the ball in the red zone every drive we might stand a chance.

All I want to see is our offense come out, support each other and work as a unit. Drops are gonna happen from time to time, so I know not to get too depressed when I see it happen, but we've seen...monster drops these past few weeks. Just inexcusable, depressing drops.

Boom said in his presser today that we have had 18 drops in 4 games...way too much. He is ready to make a lot of chsnges and one is CJ Worton playing this weekend. The group we have now have contributed to Jeff's performance.

JD has had his share of issues....but without half those drops we would be looking a lot better....not to mention tipped balls that get picked off.

We are in great shape for winning the east and our defense is balls out against the run....just need to be on the field a little less. 10-1 is right around the corner.

UF is not going 10-1 unless there are dramatic improvements.

DRAMATIC.

Team better learn to be a team pretty quick and that politics is a bad reason to have a shitty season.

We could win the East -- because everyone else is on a down year like us.

QB doesn't have to win it...our defense will win games by giving our offense short fields and we csn pound away with the run game and throw just enough to keep moving chains....as in 2012 when we went 11-1.

Our defense played its arse off against Tennessee, but if Harris doesnt replace Driskel, we lose that game. Period.

Our QB will need to win us some games if we want to get to ATL.

One thing you are forgetting is that our run game wasn't producing til the end of the game. In 2012 our run game with Gillislee was pounding foiks. It also makes it easier to throw with active run game.

I can name dozens of average or below average QBs who led their teams to championships because of stout defense and run game. tOSU NC team in 2003 is prime example...they had no one at QB...but had Clarrett and a good defense.

We need to line up and tighten our chin straps and let Jones/Taylor/Brown pound LSU and we should let Lane run the ball....even Boom said in his presser that Lane is very hard to tackle.

You still need good QB play for your run game to have a chance. All it took was that one little perfectly thrown swing pass to Jones and that completely changed how UT played on defense. It opened up the run lanes because they couldn't stack the box. Then what do you know, Jones powers it in for a TD.

We may be bitter rivals, but neither of us are that... place (to be polite) down on the plains.
