See recruiting thread for my opinion. I will post it only there.

I think Abdullah would have been just as productive as Tre was in Gus' offense. I'm not sure if he could have been the same every down, up the middle, work horse that Tre was and idk if he could have had as many rushing yards, but I think he would have made up for it with his receiving skills which would have added another wrinkle to the offense.

I think its basically a wash, but I give a slight edge to Tre.

I really wish we would have taken him. Local kid, great family, and he wanted to play for us. I love Mason, but Ameer was a local kid. I'm truly happy to see him doing well.

I'll take the one that got it done week in and week out against the SEC defenses. I still don't know how he got some of those third down yards last year.

Just looked at the 2011 class. That's turned out to be a good one for AU. A lot of attrition though.

this is my opinion. The kid lit it up at camps and was working for the Auburn offer and never got it. I wish we had taken him as a second back.

Or here's an idea: keep it out of the recruiting thread.

In the Gameday piece on him from this past weekend, his brother said Abdullah's don't leave college without a degree. However, with that being said, I wonder if he would have come back for his senior year had he had a season as good as or better than Tre's from last year?

No offense to Grant or CAP but I think he's the best RB of the 3 and would love to have him on the team this year.
