I know that some of you had been making the trip over. It would be great to hear your roadtrip stories (good or bad).
Really curious at where visitors stay, tailgate, bar, food, strange etc.
I only ran into one chick who was really pissed off about the corndog stuff, but as always, had a great experience with the visiting tigers.
What/how was your roadtrip?
ETA: How did you travel? fly? RV with friends? Car? Really curious about the "where did you stay" aspect as that is a pain in my arse as an Auburn fan.
EETTAA: how much do you think the full trip cost for you?

I didn't make it this year but made the trip in 2012. However, many of my friends went and they all had a blast.

I had a great time in Auburn, as always.
Fans were friendly. Corndog jokes weren't funny but that didn't keep me from falling for your corndog traps. They get me every time. I must have eaten 3 corndogs that had been sitting out all day.
I was hammered and undoubtedly misbehaved so I apologize.

Didn't go this year, but I always have a good time when I'm there. My experience may be tainted because I always party with some auburn alum family members though.

I got snared one time in one of those corndog traps at an MSU game. I saw that golden deliciousness laying out in the open and I couldn't resist. I looked around and reached for the dog of corn. Before I knew it I was hanging upside down from a tree branch by my ankle.

I think losing by a blowout actually makes it where the winning team is less in your face and the losing team just laughs about it. Which makes for a general "lets party" atmosphere.

I was tailgating with a bunch of AU grads I know.
We were behind center field of your baseball stadium.
Highlights: Momma G's, Nice people, Skybar is cool before it gets packed
Lowlights: Sky Octaine is poison

My LSU wife gets a kick out of the corndog stuff.

I like the fan experience a lot. I may be one of the only LSU fans who wishes we had pom poms...
PA announcer is hard to understand sometimes, but I like the small-town feel of campus. It was a very shitastic game, but everyone I met was nice.

Auburn fans play up the corn dog thing more than anyone. You guys and Ole Miss.
It's really played out, but it doesn't really bother me.
I was at a big all-LSU tailgate and we were having more fun than anyone around us (obvs).
Stadium was a cool atmosphere. Auburn people are so nice. Sky Bar and the downtown scene is great.
I've been to Auburn a lot. Always enjoy it.

It's not supposed to be funny to lsu fans. It's just so ridiculous, so it's funny to everyone else.

If I have one complaint about Auburn folks, it's that they can be a bit boring. The whole small town, white bread, sweater vest wearing, protestant crowd could use a bit more personality.

Had a great time in Auburn. This was my second time going there as I went in 2012 also and it was a blast then too.
I flew into Atlanta from Houston and hitched a ride over to Auburn with some of my LSU buddies that currently live in Atl. We stayed at a friends place who's brother currently goes to Auburn. Skybar was a blast both Friday and Saturday nights. Had some random Auburn fans buy us beers both nights at skybar. Tailgating was a blast, tailgated over by the overflow rv lot about a good walk from the stadium (lots LSU RVs over there).
Game sucked a big one...I will say it was pretty funny when they showed the score of the ole miss Bama game and whole stadium erupted, Auburn fans and LSU were even high fiving each other Overall great road trip and I'll definitely do it again sometime

But then they'd shite talk us more when they beat us.

I really wish we could grow the bar scene, but in a way that doesn't kill the small town feel of downtown Auburn. The Hound is a good bar, but not the typical bar in a college town.

Went to the fair today and it smelled like corn dogs
