Mark this down...no one escaping the SEC undefeated and a lot of teams with their heads in the clouds will soon find out that earth will be a hard fall. 2 loss west teams will be a coming soon folks.

I could see Miss or Auburn getting out with 0-1 losses. But it is rough.

Is there a chance the West clean sweeps the East this year? As bad as we are I think we beat UF & UK. Bama will dominate UT like they already did to UF. Aubbie will crush UGA and USCe. Miss st will demolish UK and Vandy. Ole Miss will beat UT easily and they already demolished Vandy. Texas A&M will destroy Mizzou like they already did to USCe. I guess Arky is the East's best chance with UGA and Mizzou but I think Arky wins those as well. West will be 14-0 or 12-2 at worst

It certainly can be a blood bath. Not sure if it will - this week will say a lot I think.

Auburn is the best team right now, with State being a close second - but both can't go undefeated in league play. And is one really so good as to go undefeated the rest of the year? Think about it:

Would it really be an upset to see MSU beat Auburn? Or A&M to beat Ole Miss? Or for Alabama to beat MSU? Or for Auburn to beat Ole Miss? Or for LSU to beat Ole Miss at home? Or for Alabama to beat Auburn at home?

Not really on all those - no huge upset.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a two loss team playing in the championship game, with only 1 team making it to the playoffs. I can easily see the intellectuals they have on the committee not allowing two SEC teams . . . for "the good of college football."

But that doesn't make for good Rant fodder.

I still think Bama has the most favorable schedule to win out.

Ole Miss, Miss St and Auburn all have tough stretches of games coming up.

It will be interesting to see or compare one loss teams like Bama, MSU, Ole Miss and Auburn if it comes to that.

As much as it pains me to say it Auburn's gonna roll thru undefeated. They had a lot of luck last year to get to the title game but they are riding a wave of confidence now and are on a mission.
