tough to tell with the gif but when I was watching live my first impression was that he did look like he was stepping on him, but the replay made it look like he was trying to knock the football out of his hands with his foot

It's hard to see that stuff sometimes in real time. It was a bang bang thing similar to the Day stomps. The SEC office needs to take action in these cases after review on Sunday instead of letting the teams handle it. Let Ole Miss and MSU have their days in the limelight. Bama and LSU aren't going anywhere.
