One positive about Bama losing

Maybe some of the sidewalk trash(***im not saying all sidewalkers are trash) jumping on the bandwagon will stop.
People endlessly trolling on SECr, getting personally upset when an analyst doesn't praise Bama, shooting/fighting each other after games, carrying your baby like a football to get it signed by AJ McCarron, poisoning trees etc are trash and they are embarrassing. If all of the above people became Auburn fans tomorrow I would be happy.

I was there during the bad years. I sat in the stadium 1-2 hours early to get a good seat just to watch Bama lose to teams like La Monroe, Northern Illinois etc.

Always liked Bama's fan base for supporting their team during the bad times. Seems rare around here.

They don't just embarrass the University, they embarrass the state.

you really should not worry about what other fans do. It isn't going to change without another "dark ages" - unless it bothers you enough to want to endure that again.

I almost witnessed a fight between and OM guy and a BAMA fan when the OM fan asked him "Oh yeah, what year did you graduate?"

I try not to but honestly it just gets old. There are ESPN documentaries that detail how trashy portions of our fanbase is.

Dude, we've lost at least one game every season since 09. People ain't jumping off the bandwagon until Saban leaves, and probably not even then. A large portion of our fanbase sucks, and always will. Nothing anyone can do about it.

Yes, your fan base needs a correction. Maybe not something on the scale of the Spanish Flu outbreak of 1918 but definitely something pretty drastic.

It is kind of like a drug. Some people get too much Bama in them and OD/go crazy. The ones that can handle get to enjoy the hell out of it.

A good size portion of our fanbase was nowhere to be seen when Bama was at the tail end of losing streaks against LSU, Tennessee, and Auburn
This is basically my point. The fans that are doing all the embarrassing things were for the most part not there when times were not great. Now when there is one loss against a top 10 team on the road those same fans are going apeshit.

bama fans are good people. Sadly, they are the minority in that fanbase.
