They are very similar. State did have more turnovers and a lower 3rd down conversion rate. I think this will be a close game and will be decided by less than 7 points.

Expecting a very good game. Will be a really tough environment with Gameday being there and their expectations at an All time high

And MSU did it on the road while we did it with the aide of the greatest home field advantage in football right now.

Yep. We are really very similar teams IMO. Both of us are strong at line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Merlins is really a very good offensive mind (always has been) and Dak is no damn joke at qb.

Gonna be a really good game IMO.

LSU passed for 341 and UAB passed for 435 against MSU. I hate the transitive property when discussing football, but I'd like to think we have a better passing game than either of those two teams.

But most of those came in the final 4-5 minutes against MSU second teamers and some prevent defense.

The UAB outburst is odd. No doubt we are going to need an effective passing game to win though. If their is any team that is tough to run on this year, it is definitely MSU.

I find the rant odd how they flip flop between opinions each week. One week Auburn is the best in the west, now no way will Auburn win.

Y'all are gonna roll your eyes but USA was a few dropped passes away from making it a game for at least a half against MSU. MSU secondary is extremely suspect while their run D is tough.

Throw deep to open up running lanes early and we'll win. If we don't exploit their weaknesses early, it could get rough.
