First of all, let me make clear that I don't care if schools cheat. If Ole Miss or any other school can cheat and get away with it, good for them. However, Ole Miss fans cant really complain because some people think they are cheating. I have seen a lot of Ole Miss fans on this very board accuse schools like Auburn and Alabama of cheating even though both of those schools have been far more successful than Ole Miss both historically and recently

It still amazes me that y'all cheat so much yet still manage 0-8 years in the conference. We didn't start cheating until tFreezus showed up and now those years are way in the past.

Mmmmmm... Gator tears taste almost as good as Bama tears. At least Bama is still in the playoff race and not spiraling downward. If you were a top recruit would you think twice about getting on a train heading for a cliff?

Auburn also plays for and wins national championships. Let me know when Ole Miss does either one of those things. I will probably be waiting a while.

I didn't accuse Ole Miss of cheating. In fact, I specifically mentioned that I didn't care whether Ole Miss cheated or not. I just pointed out that some of your fans seem a little defensive considering your fan base has been known to make those same charges against other schools

we're not mad because people accuse us of cheating, we're mad because so many act like cheating is the only thing attracting recruits to Oxford.

That's not a viable comparison. Elam is from Kentucky. Kentucky was always a player from day one for him.
Jefferson isn't from Mississippi and up until he decided to visit it had always been between Florida and Alabama.

Ole Miss has that affect on people. It's not the first time someone has wanted to come here after a visit. And showing them we can beat the best team in the country while he is here only multiplies it.
