Not a melt, I wasn't too mad about the loss. shite happens.

But now that we've dropped a game, do you think we will try to get Coker more PT to try to get him more prepared for next season? Blake would have benefitted from that last year, for sure.

Why the hell would we do that? There is a TON of football to be played, and we are not out of the race by any stretch. You are talking crazy, dude.

Not yet. If we get up big in the fourth, put him in with the 1s and keep running the normal O. He needs reps for next year.

But if we lose again, just put him in. We won't get into the playoffs with 2 losses, and if we can't win the title we might as well prep for next year, because that is a super team in the making.

Whatever is decided, I hope that the days of putting the backup in to run out the clock are over. Let them use the playbook. Who the frick cares if we score in the 60s and people see it as rude?

I agree. I figured we would go 10-2 in the regular season this year. We just don't have a championship caliber team. But 2015 has a lot of potential, and Coker needs to be ready to take the reins since Blakes eligibility is up after this.

With who we have to throw to, we should just fling it and run it up on everyone. We were way too passive. Too much running.

How is next year's team superior to this one?

You serious? The 2015 team has been hyped for a loooong time.

Pretty much everyone on D returns other than DePriest and LC. Jarrick is an ok loss, and Perry is addition by subtraction. So many people return on the defensive front. If we get Dom Jackson at RG, we'll return three OL. OJ will be back. Henry and Drake will be back. Black/Stewart/Sims will have some PT this year.

No

He's getting the reps he should. He's gonna get way more meaningful snaps than Sims got.

It doesn't matter who we put in at QB if the coaching staff is not going to trust them to run a full offense.

no, screw next year. theres no legit reason to get a qb experience. just start fresh every year with an untested no experience qb and hope for the best. then raise total hell when he falters and blame coaches for being stupid. but whatever you do, do not give the back up qb legit experience. after all our beloved 'bear bryant' had total belief in this. never play the back ups so they can gain real experience.

Today we should have run more. They were practically playing triple coverage on Coop and couldn't stack the box. Yeldon was feeling it too.

My only real complaint of the game.

No. You might not be melting, but your brains are leaking out of your ears. It's one game. Alabama's playoff hopes are still alive -- especially with what else happened today. Now is not the time to get the second-string QB more reps to "prepare for the future."

Exactly.

We literally have the worst fans. They love and know how to front run like no other when we're winning.

The minute we lose all hell breaks out. All of a sudden we aren't that good, our season is over and next season should be prioritized, etc etc..

Literally the worst.

Of all the one loss teams, we have the "best" loss. We most likely will be the highest ranked one-loss team. If we can win out, we will no doubt be in the playoffs whether we go to the SEC title game or not.

They give up so fast. It's not even funny.

I saw it and posted.

Beautiful work man.

Reminds me when we lost to LSU 9-6. I wasn't here, but on BOL, tidefan, etc posters were going nuts. Saying the season is over, turning on the staff, etc.

We will be just fine. The run starts with Arkansas next week.
