What needs to happen for us to get into the playoff? I know this loss is frustrating, but we're not the ONLY fanbase who is mightily disappointed.

Not a whole lot needs to happen. We just need to win out. All of the losses today help us when it comes to the playoff scenario.

Exactly!!! The coaches need to get their heads out of their arses and fix this team to have a shot but Ole Miss still has a tough road ahead of them.

Idc. I want ole miss to lose 2 and somehow get in the playoff. I want to play them again. Maybe saban will stop playing to not lose and start playing to win. Play everyone, no one is there for anything else but to play. Makes the snaps you get more valuable and provides more incentive to kick arse on every play you get.

Look at all the teams that lost today....and it's only halfway through the season so they can still lose more....Bama just need to go out and win and they are in. Our schedule is pretty decent.

This loss is very bitter. But, if we were to win the NC, that sweet feeling will erase this feeling

I agree. I want us to meet Ole miss again somehow, and get a shot at OU to get revenge for the sugar bowl

Hell lsu lost to UK and Arky and won the ship...we still have a good shot as anyone, just not much more room for errors.

There won't be an undefeated team this season...and a real possibility of at least one 2 loss team.

FSU just won't go undefeated back to back, as they usual choke somewhere....and they have ND, UVA (barely lost to UCLA and BYU) and UF (long shot)

i'm actually kind of relieved that that loss, that we all knew was looming, has happened. and, it was to a solid team, in their house, their super bowl. hopefully the team can pick themselves up and recover/get better after this.

i am now just going to sit back and enjoy watching alabama play football, win or lose. it really is kind of freeing to let go of some of the media/sports forum fan induced expectations and see it this team can gell and improve.

RTR!!

What makes this a little bit more tougher to swallow is losing Drake...really liked that dude. :/

Nothing. Just win. Everyone else is losing around us and has been. If we win from here we probably make the playoffs, even if we don't win the SEC.

They definitely played differently after that. I hope the break isn't too bad.

After this, I cannot help but think Ole Miss will $hit the bed at least once along the way. I also think MState will role them. I also think they will roll us too if we do not come back with a vengeance from this debacle.

I would be shocked if they don't lose to A&M next week like SC lost to Kentucky the week after they beat Bama in 2010. Of course we need them to lose twice to make it to Atlanta by winning out.

The State team I saw today will kill them. Like I also said. They will pound us too. Auburn better button up.

To be honest, we don't need them to lose twice. If we win out, I don't see the panel keeping a one loss Alabama out of the playoffs.

It'd mean no SEC Championship of course, but we've skipped those in the past.

Whatever the case, we're still in it. All we have to do is just handle our business. Arkansas, A&M and LSU shouldn't be too hard. All three aren't that great defensively and are struggling with issues.

Our big game days will be Miss State and Auburn. If we can handle business there we're in great shape.

A lot can happen. Who knew three weeks ago, our division would look like this?
