I wasn't counting UF as a win going into the season but the got damn way we lost is mother fricking frustrating!! Shitty play calling, the Oline should be improving at this point and isn't, can't score on turnovers, and penalties are getting worse. I was optimistic but the crap we are doing is stuff that should be fixable, I feel like we are regressing.

This was a backbreaking loss for Butch. This should've been at least a 14 point win when you look at just how bad florida is.

I'm still steaming an hour later

Extremely frustrating to watch. Every fan should be fricking furious after that shite show. That should've been a double digit win.

I felt it at halftime and especially after that terrible pick right after we got a turnover. I usually don't get mad watching games, but I was pissed watching that shite knowing that team should've been slaughtering UF.

Completely fricking awful all the way around.

That game had blowout written all over it. UF was trying to gift that game to us. It's unbelievable how we manage to look like a retard on acid against them.

Idk about the coaching thing, but I think it is apparent they are going to have to make some changes here and there...namely on offense.

You are right and as you all have said that game should have been a blow out. I'm so frustrated right now.

So fricking frustrating the defense gave it their all. Huge huge disappointing loss. Florida sucks if we can't beat them now then when.

This was our chance to show we were on the way back

Butch thought he was bringing in the best coaching staff but the Cinci guys like Baja needs to go. Fulmer did it with him recruiting and good OC and DC coordinators.

Sorry guys. A little inebriated. I'm still monumentally disappointed with this staff, but the f this team comment was way out of line. It's not these kids'fault their coaches suck.

Prof, you're usually a voice of reason(with some sunshine pumped in) . Please talk me down from the ledge.

You quoted me, and I have re-read the thread and didn't see a "f this team comment" and if you meant to quote me then you didn't read my post.

Tennessee deserves a better coach than Butch Jones.

Who was beating down the door? Hell Bama had trouble and got luck that Saban was available at the exact right time. I think Butch will be ok if he is willing to shake up the offensive staff.

It has nothing to with play calling.
We don't have a full roster of SEC caliber players, yet.

We didn't stretch the field with a vertical passing game, because our OL can't get protection.
We can't run the ball because opposing defenses won't respect a deep passing game.
Therefore were one dementional with a short passing game.

It is a vicious circle.

It is what it is.

We should've talked one of those picks to the house.

That's a tall order InVolNerable. I'm disappointed myself but damned there's just nothing we can do with Coleman getting beat like that. Our oline is what killed us this game and I don't know what to do about it. We gave up 6 sacks at least, one that caused a critical fumble and Worley got hit more than that. I thought we did well passing to Young and Johnathan Johnson - they're both fast and with good hands and I think we ought to have stuck with them a bit more, especially with Malone having some drops and still being a true frosh. Those two aren't our best playmakers to be sure but they're clutch - great possession receivers, imo that need to be utilized more to throw the middle. We are really, really, missing Josh Smith strange as that sounds.

Worley seemed to regress this game. He wasn't nearly as confident as he's been all year. I'm not sure what to make of that but the leadership he had at the UGA game wasn't on display. He came out sluggish and stayed sluggish and the offense can't have that - they're too in tune with Worley and the tone he sets is the tone they seem to follow and play with a lot.

I know it seems like there was bad playcalling but there really wasn't all that much of it. Our oline forces those playcalls and UF's dline forces them as well. Just like last year Jones said we'd go as far as Big Dan could take us, this year he said we'd go as far as the oline could take us and until the oline gets it together we're going to see a lot of this.

Good news - defense is there. Next game is UCHATT and will be a much needed confidence boost for our WRs and for Worley to hopefully heal up and get more vertical. It will also give our oline it's 4th game together as a unit. Also the word on Blair lately was that he'd been much improved and got his stripe off. It may be time to play him if Coleman keeps this up. I know they've been tempted to RS him to give him 2 full years but if he's ready it may be time.

I'm not really mad at the staff but I'm frustrated at the oline. It limits us so much. Also, it's games like this where youth really hurts you - I know we've heard that a lot but it's true.
