Sooooo...we should be rooting for Alabama this weekend, right? The thought of a pissed off Alabama makes me think our chances would be much lower.

Anyone else think we will defend Alabama roughly similar to how we played A&M? The little I've seen them play, it just doesn't seem like they're that interested in running the ball.

edit: Didn't realize I misspoke above. Obviously, I mean that we should root for Bama to win so they aren't pissed off. My bad!

i'm with you i kinda think if ole miss wins then they'll be out for blood or nick will be for sure when we play so i hope they blow ole miss out.

how poetic would it be if bert got his first sec win against them, the juggernaut of juggernauts, who've had our number for however long now?

You mean rooting for Bama to get roughed up but eke out a win.

Bama needs to win, Auburn needs to win, and tamu needs to win.

That sounds like the most poetic end to our suffering that I can think of. I'm on board.

A W over Bama would be fantastic for a number of reasons, not the least of which is because it would shut up the Petrino cultists for a while.

Somehow with all the schedule changes Bama still ends up our first SEC home game.

I long for a stretch like we had in the mid 90s to mid 2000s where we beat them as much as they beat us. There were some classic games played during that era.

Me too, we have to get this series under control. I just hope our boys are over A&M and ready to play like they have been all year. If they are we will be a serious threat to the tide.

We will turn the corner in the SEC and in our series with A&M. We had a great game with them last week... which you can tell by the fact that their more insecure posters whined about the game this entire week. We don't have all the pieces of the puzzle yet but we are getting there.

Well Bama lost Drake for the year. Big loss for them, and it was gruesome.

Bama OL isn't shite this year, it's still good, but nothing like before, ours may be better already. Ole Miss DL is abusing the Bama OL.

Without a run game so far, Sims looks mediocre at QB for them.

Bama's defense is still as good as ever, not sure even our OL can establish much against it. We'll see.

He will be lucky if he gets to travel for the game. He told the Arkansas boys he is just focused on getting his degree and getting out of there.

Derrick Henry is miles ahead of Tenpenny as the #3 RB.

We will probably get a REC approved officiating crew, so there's that to overcome.

That's the only reason to root for a Bama loss today; refs won't be so protective if they lose.

If we get screwed by the refs like Ole Miss is and we lose another heart wrencher because of it.

I might have to sacrifice myself for the greater good of the 13 other conference members.
