What a sad story! I didn't realize he was from Alabama.i was a young kid working at UAB when this happened and I remember him coming to Spain Rehab for therapy. Tough to watch!

It was pretty sad indeed. I still think Gaines has a mental condition to be carrying that kind of guilt around.

What really gets me on that is how fricked up its made Brad Gaines. All that dude did was catch a pass. Mullens hit him in the back.

I was amazed how much it has impacted his life. His trips to the the grave site were pretty touching. My eyes almost got a heavy dew watching that story.

I know it was a sad story for Chuckie but, I feel really bad for Brad Gaines. There was no happy ending.

The grave scene coincided with a dust storm in my house.

ETA: Mullins' attitude is also tear-jerking but in a good way. Damn, how many people would be that upbeat after what happened?

Gaines has carried that burden for a long time. Sad story for both of them.
