Was reading somewhere where these early financial aid deals are a little dangerous for the school.
Which I found interesting. I mean there's no way this guy backs out.
But other kids that are wavering if they sign that form and don't commit. It's some type of violation.

Once the kid signs this agreement, the coaching staff can have unlimited contact. Last year, a couple kids signed multiple agreements. It was rumored Hootie signed one with Bama, LSU, and Ole Miss. That meant all three could recruit him around the clock if they wanted.
In the spring, the NCAA released a clarified interpretation of the rules. If a kid signs multiple agreements, then only the school he eventually enrolls at is allowed to have unlimited contact. Any school he doesn't sign with can face violations.
It's all a farce. The schools have no reliable way to know for sure where the kid will enroll, or even if he's signed other agreements. All the school has to say is that they believed he was coming, report it as a secondary violation, and move on. It's a mess, prettymuch.

It is very tricky how the hell are you supposed to know what the kid is thinking, and also knowing he has signed similar paper work with other schools.. Setting one self up for an ivestigation and un needed NCAA probing.
