Previously undetected long-term medical condition, per 247. He will likely be placed on medical scholarship.

Rumor is Langley has moved back to DB & had an interception on Mason in his 1st practice back...

ETA: best wishes to Rico...

Let it rip

Hopefully Rico is going to be OK and it's just preventative.

We'll be able to sign 35 if this week does not hurry up and end.

Poor guy. I'm guessing it's probably an enlarged heart or something along those lines. Best of luck to him! Sucks he can't play football anymore but it's better than the alternative (possible death).

Gentry says it's not supposed to be life-threatening.

I hope Rico can stay involved in football in some way. I know it meant a lot to him. He was offered at camp a couple years back and broke down and cried on the field. He didn't qualify and battled for a year at prep school to get back to Georgia. Really tough break for him.

So sad. Hopefully he gets his degree and is healthy.

Kid's a DGD. That's heartbreaking to hear that he's gotta hang it up. He bled for UGA.

Anybody have an idea on who we can pay off to catch a break in the defensive backfield?!

Prayers sent for Rico. Hopefully he can recover.

Might get there by the end of the year. Couple others that may be calling it quits by then (just rumors at this point)
