29 pass break ups & 4 INTS
These young DBs are getting after it
I am excited about what is being built here.

And seem to be gaining confidence every game.

For real. And this is after playing offenses like TTU, A&M and Auburn. Jennings can flat out coach.

Please don't tell this to Amari Cooper.

Toliver didn't play much in dallas & Ramsey didnt play at all. I expect our pass defense to keep improving. If we keep Amari Cooper under 100yds receiving, we have a chance against Bammer.

Well....yeah...but we've also played ATM, NIU and TT...so we've had a lot of chances to break passes up also. Don't take me wrong, I think our D-backs are by far the most improved unit on the very much improved team...but...
We also gave up 3 long TD passes in about 4 plays during crunch time vs. ATM. Break up any one of the first two and game over.

Which makes it all the more impressive. If you'd told me before the season that we'd come out of the Tech, NIU and A&M games with that passes defended ranking in the SEC and nation sport and those numbers, I'd have taken it in a heartbeat. We've come a long way from the defense being tackling dummies in practice for the offenses of Houston Nutt and Bobby Petrino.
Also, I attribute the long passes late in the game against A&M more to youth, shallow depth and the fact we were playing a walk-on RS Freshman in the secondary than anything else.
Jennings has done a stellar job, and I've become a Robb Smith fan.

Jennings is doing well I love him. We just need to keep the staff together for 2 more years and it will all take shape into a great defense, wow.

The improvement with our defense is blatantly obvious. I'm impressed.

Read this morning that Bielema kept Ramsey in Fayetteville for an academic reason that is now taken care of.
2beez doesn't waiver in his commitment to accountability. The program will be damn strong by the time he's done here.

Hard to argue with the way he's righting the ship in the classroom. We definitely seem to have higher caliber kids nowadays, not to take away from the Mark Pierce's of the world.

Who was crazier Mark Pierce or Ron Hurey?

Hurey was before my time, but hard to find anything redeeming about the murderer.
