Our ball skills have gotten considerably worse under Townsend. We don't come down with picks and don't defend passes as well. Love is the fastest guy on defense by far, but his hands have diminished. Calhouns aren't as good as last years either but he's so good at keeping right coverage and making open field tackles that he doesn't get targeted.

That would put us at around 600 total yards of offense on the road.
If MSU outscores us with these kind of offensive numbers then we deserve to lose. I will be the first to admit that.

You put up only 137 rushing yards on Ark, who has a top 70 rushing defense. We have a top 10 rushing defense. Think again.

No we don't. The defensive scheme we are facing basically dictates what we are going to do 90% of the time. Most teams gear up to deal with our passing game and we run it in because of the defensive lineup.
There are some exceptions as the Ags are quite capable of lining up in a power run formation and just running between the tackles.
In my estimation, if Ags throw for 400 yards that means MSU isn't getting the pressure on Kenny Hill they need to. IF you aren't getting pressure, you got big problems.
