What's the deal with Ole Miss's running game?

643 yards for the year? Wow, that's pretty poor considering the teams Ole Miss has played.
You know the only way to beat bama is with a solid running game.
How will the black-bear-rebels do it?

Saving it for the 'Bama game obviously.

Good luck with that.

We've been sandbagging and hiding the playbook. Also using our inferior backs the majority of the time as opposed to the studs we have been hiding.

Pretty much the best running attack in the country. What about it?

It's a fair question - our OL has a lot to prove.

Besides the inability to use a grill in the grove, the fact that Hemingway was a communist, Ole Miss' student body has yet to enroll a non-athlete person of minority...
They are still a school. That is near Tunica.

Second highest minority enrollment percentage in the conference.
We must have lots of sports teams and shite

The main thing missing from OM, to take them to the next level, is a power running game...

OL looked weak in 2 games I watched. Not saying I can cast stones with or OL. OM will lose 4 of the next 5

I can see at least two interceptions and probably one by Collins (who grew up in our backyard ).

Interior run game sucks.. We don't have any big backs so we have to go outside on most of our run plays.. That number is misleading IMO. Take a look at how many screen passes have gone to Walton and Mathers. A lot of their yards are coming from short little dump off passes that are basically "run plays" in freezes offense.
ETA: I just looked up their numbers in the pass game.. Maybe it just feels like they get the ball out in the flat a lot. Walton had ~100 rec yards. Nothing too impressive but all those are coming from short little dump passes.

Stop blaming our RBs. Our interior OL sucks. They get no push. Most of our runs to outside because even if they're called up the gut our backs have to improvise and bounce outside.

Where in my post did I blame the RBs?
