I saw that yesterday. I thought it was at least gonna say something about getting the stadium closer to campus.

So how many losses before a real melt begins? Four? Five?

It only takes a bad quarter over there. Sometimes a bad series

My Son told me about that place. He says basically the same thing.

I can only imagine.

Worst melt I ever did was on the old AOL boards however long ago our loss to The Citadel was? What was that, 90, 91 maybe? Actually it may have been Usenet. I can't remember but a lot of us were beyond pissed.

I think it was the loss to Connecticut though, under Spurrier, when I decided to never really let it bother me again.

I'm still in that stupid phase where I punch shite. I may or may not have bruised my knuckle on seat 24 Saturday night. I sort of blow up and then get over it quickly. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Oh shite it's still there.

That's rough on the metacarpals.

But you're right, Spurrier has at least one really poorly called game each season where the hubris kicks-in and he just seems determined to do it a set way regardless of the consequences.

We could probably count backwards and name them if we wanted to ... where he just refused to do the obvious and it cost us a game. Happens every season.

On the flip side, how many games has he won by doing the right thing? And when we think about it that way then there is the rub.

But yeah, I watched the replay this morning finally. He should'a gone for two but there were a ton of other mistakes made by coaches and players in the game.

I melted big time Saturday, but in retrospect, it just quickened the inevitable this season.

WE ARE NOT GOOD.
