These two games are obviously must see TV. I can't decide on which one I am more excited to watch. With that said, is this the biggest weekend in Mississippi sports history? To this point, at least?

Has to be.

Neither of those shitty arse programs have ever been good enough at the same time to warrant national attention like this.

It's a perfect storm for that whole god-forsaken state.

Most national exposure they'll probably ever get. Sadly, the nation will forget all about them after this Saturday.

I think MSU got the short end of the stick. Lot's of people want to see Dak play. They should have had a late afternoon or evening game.

They earned it and didn't deserve the BS 11am slot. The electricity of an evening game would have been awesome for MSU.

As a visiting fan, it would have been cool.

1940.

State and Mississippi entered the Egg Bowl a combined 15-1-1.

Never better before or since.

Yeah I honestly can't remember the last time the two Mississippi teams were good at the same time. Has it ever happened before?

If not then yeah no doubt this is the biggest weekend for them.
