The comments from the Oregon fans are hilarious.
Basically Gurley is overrated because he's in the SEC and Gurley can't rush for as many yards as Mariota passes

As if ANYBODY has say-so on rankings BEFORE the season starts - esp. when they're usually scheduled YEARS IN ADVANCE. Hell, 2 of those games were SEC scheduled.

The passing vs. rushing argument is absurd because the passing yards are actually receiving yards that a QB just has to throw, so they don't deserve near the credit for them.

Mariota loses a game and he's out of the discussion. Gurley bas already lost and he's the front runner. That should say enough. Gurley is incredible and deserves the Heisman if he keeps it up.
