Yall looked impressive in week 1, but haven't flexed since then. We will see yall do it again this week or yall looking past State. All bias aside, can yall win the west undefeated? If not, who will yall stumble on

Anyone that thinks we're going undefeated is completely delusional. I honestly don't think anyone is capable of going undefeated in the West this year. Too many landmines and it's impossible to play your best every single week.

We are a 9-3 team tbh. Almost all of our games from here on out are types where you just can't know who will win going in.

I sure hope we aren't looking past State, but regardless, it will be a difficult game in Starkville.

Personally I don't think anyone goes undefeated in the West. Honestly, I think every game from here on out is an extremely tough game (save ULM), but my guess is we lose 2-3 somewhere in there.

I think fans would be foolish to overlook Dak and the MSU DL. I think MSU's secondary is going to get a really good workout, though, and I expect A&M to score pretty much at will, with TD passes to Kennedy, Pope, Reynolds, Seals-Jones, Tabuyo and I've probably missed one - oh yeah, walk-on Niederhofer. The penalized TD pass to backup center Compton hurt my heart. Maybe they can pull this out again vs. Les.

It's hard to imagine beating Bama at Bama, but I'll go ahead and imagine it, because I've seen it before.

Personally I'd be happy with losing to MSU, Bama, and Auburn as long as we can beat LSU at Thanksgiving. Yes, you're in my head. frickers.

Nobody in the west is going undefeated.

We should only get better as the season goes on, especially up front on defense as they start to gain confidence. Personally I think we win this weekend and split the Bama Auburn OM and LSU games to go 10-2. No idea who those two losses come to and it's way too much of a crapshoot to predict it.

Whether 10-2 is good enough to win the west I dunno, probably not. I think Bama is still the front runner at this point

9-3 or 8-4 I think.

Which I would have been more than happy with going into the season, and still will be.

Worst case = 8-4 (losses to Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, and LSU)

Best case = 12-0

I think we go 10-2 with losses at Alabama and at Auburn.

Miss St - I think we win by around 9

Ole Miss - Win

Bama - leaning toward a loss

Auburn - Leaning toward a win

Mizzo - Win

LSU - Think we win this one.

Finish season with either 1 or 2 losses. I have watched the replay of the Arky game a few times and I was pretty pleased with second half effort. Don't think we face a worse physical match up the rest of the year.

If Ags hold MSU to around 425 total yards this weekend then we have a chance to win them all. I know it's unlikely but the D played a very good second half. Best half since 2012 in my opinion. Think the Hogs are going to pound a few big wins out later this year and Saturday's win is going to look a lot better later on.

Can we win the west? Yep

Undefeated? No way.

We keep improving, I think we will surprise some folks down the road.

@MSU - Pick em game in vegas. I think our pass game finds a way. Plus people keep counting out our D that is much improved.
OM - not getting a vibe on this one yet.
@BAMA - I don't think we are going to pull this one off.
ULM - auto W
@AUBURN - I am going to say loss just because I don't think we win them all.
MIZZOU - Even with the win over USCe, I am not impressed. Should be a W.
LSU - felt good about this one before the year. Still feel great. I think we have this one circled.

10-2 (6-2) but with the H2H loss to Bama we lose any shot at winning the west.

Edit: posted before reading everyone else. looks like we're not liking our chances vs the Bama schools. I feel much better about Auburn than Bama. Somehow I think we still lose 2 evenb if we beat Auburn. Maybe Ole Piss. They're due vs us it seems.

Tough to predict at this point, but id say 4 losses at this point. We'll learn a lot this weekend.

My preseason prediction was 8-4, but that was assuming a loss at South Carolina.
Based on our upset of the Cocks, I'd be ok revising my original prediction to 9-3.

I say we go 8-4 or 9-3 but I would love for the team to prove me wrong and win at least 10 games.

Any team in the west can still win it, with the exception of arky who already has 2 losses. I have a hard time seeing anyone going undefeated, but Bama might have the best shot now that they have a more complete offense.

No one has played enough games though to really judge. If there is one consistency on all the west teams, it's that everyone looks very inconsistent. MSU might have the most solid look right now, but everyone has struggled already where they shouldn't.

We go 10-2, drop 2 of the following: MSU, OM, Bama, LSU, Auburn. I think we will beat mizzou, although I'm not implying they aren't looking respectable.

This, except I'm not sure who the 3 are. If we get by MSU (not a given, but I think probable), then that leaves Ole Miss at Kyle (win), Alabama and Auburn away, and LSU at home. LSU fans are laughing their asses off right now. Screw the playoffs, I'd happily give up 2 losses to beat LSU.
