Damn, this rivalry game used to be circled on the SEC schedule. Now it's the 2nd best SEC game before noon on Saturday, and it would probably be on standard definition Jefferson Pilot @ 11:21 am if that shite still existed.

Anyway, let's talk about the game - I think it has some underrated intrigue.

How's Worley's injury? He has been impressive this season, even with a meh run game and patchwork OL.

Is Boom completely fricked if they lose to UT (i.e. Foley starts making serious calls)?

... if Dan Merlins wins big this year, is he too associated with Corch Irvin Meyers for Foley to consider him?

Can UT's OL hold up again Dante Fowler Jr?

Is VH3 gonna bounce back against Marquez North after being a non-factor vs. Bama? Is he actually really good or is he a hype machine (or is he a byproduct of a sinking ship)?

Are UF fans emotionally-hijacked seeing Jacoby Brissett do work against FSU's defense last week?

Why does Butch Jones use a microphone at practice? Does he have vocal cord issues? His haircut is Big Ten as fvck, BTW.

Don't you have your own game to worry about?

Worley is fine, 100% per CBJ. Pearson and Smith are still questionable, my understanding is that they're game time decisions. Both are big time play makers for us offensively.

Everyone talks about North, but Pearson is probably our best all around WR, and Smith is sneaky athletic, if you get what I'm saying.

Not really - per the SEC Rant the game is already over and Bama has won like 34 to 6 or some shite...

Crazy - I have to believe UT is primed to win this year.

Offensively, they seem to have found a rhythm. Worley is actually a solid QB and has been throwing darts. I was unimpressed with Hurd early in the season, but he seems to be playing much better lately when the competition level has increased (Oklahoma and UGA).

I don't see UF running the ball with much success - AJ Johnson will lock that down. UT's secondary can be exposed, but Driskel has a lot to prove as far as vertical passing goes.

Florida's D meanwhile should be extremely motivated coming off 600 yards allowed to Alabama. Just not sure if the offense can keep up...

I hope Driskel thinks that he can expose the secondary.

Wasn't he boasting about his ability to empty Neyland in the third quarter or something?

As if it could possibly compare to his ability to singlehandedly empty Ben Hill Griffin in the third, that is. :coco2:

I just started another thread on the same theme. My apologies - didn't see it and here it was right on the first page.

To me this game is as interesting as the three West games, but with completely different implications. All those west teams control there destiny. This game decides if UT is back or Boom is gone in all probability.

I saw yesterday that Pearson is up to Questionable from Doubtful and Smith has been ruled out.

Look for Darrell Scott (4*TF RB) to get his first action in the backfield as well this weekend.

I think as long as TN can avoid the catastrophic mistakes that have plagued them in this series and recently they should win by 10 or so.

But we give them really short fields, pick sixes, fumbles in our own endzone or STeams TD's and all bets are off.

As far as I know the game is still on.
Both fan bases scared as sheet.
Both coaching staffs scared as sheet.
Due to greater fear of results of a defeat by UF coaches, the Gators find a way to extend the streak to 10 games. But I am worried.
Go Gators.

Pearson practiced yesterday and has been telling people that he is for sure gonna play Saturday. That is a huge boost for UT

Coming out party? We know what's he made of, but I don't think the general public recognizes how talented this kid really is.
