Just seeing what remote chances we have at getting destroyed in Atlanta. Seeing as how we'll lose to at least Auburn, Mizzou would need to lose 4 games. Georgia would need to lose two more games.

Not even gonna bother with tiebreakers at this point. Just looking for some kind of miracle optimism

(Yes I am aware that South Carolina can easily lose to any of the SEC teams remaining on their schedule. A man has to keep his hopes up though.)

I expect Mizzou will beat Georgia and the East will pretty much be wrapped up on October 11th. I don't see them losing 3 games after that, and they could have an even bigger margin for error considering both USC and UGA still have Auburn ahead.

I don't see Mizzou beating UGA. At least not the way they played last Saturday. However I feel both teams are better than that. I just don't know how much better. It could be a crazy finish in the East again this year.

In fairness, Georgia probably would've lost to UT if Worley hadn't gone out for a few possessions in the 4th quarter.

9-3 (6-2)

Losses @A&M and either @Tenn or @Florida.

1st place in the East.

And South Carolina would have won if our TE caught a wide open pass in the endzone.

This is why college football is so awesome, yet so heartbreaking.

For sure. We'll drop at least one more game, probably two if the QB play doesn't improve. Every team is still alive sans Vandy.

We're treading water though.

If we pull off a miracle win at Auburn for the first time in 6,567 years...

There is so much football left to be played, it is wide open still. As for Mizzou, this team so lacks an identity, they could win every one of their remaining games or they could lose every one of them.

This years SECE reminds me of the mid 90s SECW... a pillow fight to see which 5-3/6-2 team makes it to Atlanta and gets slaughtered by the other division.
