quote:

He said Tuesday the bump out-of-bounds was not intentional after the quarterback didn’t let up after running for a first down near the Gamecock sideline early in the fourth quarter.

“He didn’t give me an extra elbow or anything, he just sort of jarred me,” Spurrier said during his weekly press conference. “I stayed upright but my ball plays fell out (of my hand).”

For some reason the fact that he still calls them "ball plays" echos an older era of football.

It was clearly intentional. Spurrier is too prideful to admit it.

What you're hearing there is pure East, Tennessean. Of course, you have to understand we live and speak in an older era. Folks find it 'charming' but Ole Steve could pull out some sayings if he wanted to that even a lot of southerners wouldn't understand but Appalachians would.

Don't know much about Mauk except from this play he's obviously a total POS, and I hope someone breaks his leg next game on a late hit. And any Missou fans that defend this are a POS as well.

The play sheets exploding out of his hands and then fluttering through the air gets me every time

I'm also a fan of the way everyone just moves out of the way, like Mauk is parting the garnet sea.

That's (gif) the first time I am seeing that incident, which everyone has been telling me about ... it was obviously intentional. Mauk should have never made it off the Gamecock sideline in one piece.

This team of ours are a bunch of pussies this year.
