There's rumblings that one of his shoulders may not be 100%... Then you talk about the fact that this is the first hostile road environment where Blake wont be on the sidelines wearing a headset... What's the Rant's opinion ? This Ole Miss defense may end up being the best in the conference by season's end.. Is Sims ready to take the next step ?

Saban spoke about that in his PC yesterday.

A tough hit on that shoulder could spell the beginning of the Coker pain train.

Will definitely be a huge test for Sims. If he can survive this game, he should be able to coast the rest of the season.

I think Ole Miss is going to be shocked at how fast Bama takes control of this game.

Sims is damn good, you should be worried about what he could do to the Rebel defense.

It's cool. Coker would torch us for seven TDs and 500 yards too.

I'm confident in Coker based off of what he's shown in limited action that if Blake were to go down, we'd still kick your arse.

I would be more worried about other things than Blake Sims in this game.

1. Derrick Henry
2. Amari Cooper
3. TJ Yeldon
4. Kenyan Drake
5. Bo Wallace throwing 2 picks and 1 fumble

Hostile enviroment? I've been to high school games that had a more hostile eviroment than Vaught-Hemingway. What are yall going to do? Throw another red high heel shoe on the field?

I love Sims and I think this is actually a good thread with a lot of truth. I don't think it will get much serious discussion, but this is Sims first road test, with a fired up OM fanbase, and a defense that has allowed an average of one score per game. Also against a defense that has given up a whopping 264, 60, 129, and 81 passing yards to their opponents(those numbers are in game order, for reference). You can say level of competition but last year our defense gave up more passing yards against SEMO than any of our four games this year.

I'm not saying, we win. I will say Ole Miss's defense really is for real. I would trade our DL or DB units for anyone else's in the country.
