Alabama vs. Ole Miss by the numbers - Defenses

West Virginia yards for - 393, #11 nationally in yds/G
Boise St yards for - 399, #39 nationally in yds/G
Advantage: Bama
FAU yards for - 145, #114 nationally in yds/G
Vanderbilt yards for - 167, #124 nationally in yds/G
Advantage: Bama
USM yards for - 263 #112th nationally in yds/G
La-Laf yards for - 322 #94th nationally in yds/G
Advantage: Bama, because the difference in their offenses is 50 yards per game and Bama allowed 60 less than OM did
UF yards for - 200 #42 nationally in yds/G
Memphis yards for - 104 #79 nationally in yds/G
Advantage: Ole Miss, even though UF is ranked higher, the difference is only about 65 yards between Memphis and UF
So what's it mean. Alabama has faced better offenses, generally, and has allowed only one more touchdown and approximately the same yards/game as Ole Miss has. So Alabama is better. Roll Tide.

Ole Miss is more solid in the back 4
Memphis scored 35 points at #10 UCLA a few weeks ago.. They only had 104 total yards of offense against us and scored 3.

It was all in response to Ole Miss proclaiming they have the best defense in the SEC. Which is not the case. Well not yet anyways. We'll see after Saturday.

I'm pretty boring and nondescript but sometimes I have good drugs.
I will be heading down this weekend, though. I always have a good time in the Grove, but this year may be a bit more hostile than the past.
