Four UK players suspended for the USC game.

Tymere Dubose
The four were suspended after involvement in a "shooting" that lead to a campus lockdown. The "shooting" was an air soft gun being shot in to the air.

I known we live in a sensitive society but I'm kinda shocked college freshman are being suspended for shorting BB guns? Is there more to the story than I'm missing ? Did they do this with malicious intent?

No malicious intent, all the witnesses just said they heard gunshots. They were just being dumbass 18 year olds.
The campus has a zero tolerance gun policy which I assume even includes pellet, BB, and air soft guns. I just hope it doesn't lead to any legal or university punishments.

Dorian Baker (WR) and Boom Williams (RB) have both been contributing to the offense early on...big loss.

It's not a HUGE loss, but it doesn't help a team who was devoid of any playmakers just a year ago. Especially a team that has a thin margin of error for winning most SEC games.

I'm less worried about the suspensions and more worried that the school will try to "make an example" of them and punish them academically.

Sounds like they were shooting those Nerf Pellet Guns.
Sad, it is the times we live in today…..heck, me and my friends would shoot BB guns all the time way back in the day…can't do that anymore.

I hope UK won't go beyond this suspension as punishment. I mean, this is a super important game and they won't get to play. Seems harsh enough for being dumb kids.

Sadly they don't fire it on campus and nobody even bats an eye. Hopefully nothing else comes of it seeing as it was just a fricking BB gun.
