Are we severely overrating MSU?

It's weird to see the tRant's weekly rankings and see MSU in the top 3 in almost every posters poll.
I just think LSU is a very bad football team and MSU almost gave the game away at the end.

Why do people mistake Muffin's kindness for weakness?
He was just trying to strengthen the SEC coaching brotherhood by allowing a fellow coach to have some pity points and allow the backup QB some reps/confidence.

I think we are severely over rating Bama and a Lane Kiffin offense. Hell, at least we've played a West team. One of the teams is unproven, but it isn't ours.

It seems like any team that decides to play a QB at some point before the 4th qtr has a good chance of beating the dogs.
