Ole Miss and Auburn both receiving less than 20% of wagers placed.

Miss St receiving a little more than A&M but pretty even.

Smart move. Never bet on or against your heart. You can't will a win as a spectator.

If I'm a Bama fan I'm pounding Ole Miss at the best number I can get. Had a nice wager on Miss St +10 at LSU.

It's possible WIN/WIN and WIN/LOSE worst case.

The emotional hedge.

Took Bama at -6 this morning. If your lean is bama get it now this number is only going up. All that public money on one side scares the shite out of me though

It will be interesting to see how the lines progress throughout the week. I'm not so sure they'll move much.

It should. There's a reason Vegas is in business. They're smarter than the folks who bet.

You did a good job getting in before 7.

Not true, the games vs the house are titled, but they mostly make money off the rake.

They want the bets to be even on both sides.

They are, but I'm not sure you understand why they're smarter. Think about it logically -- if you're going sheerly by the lines, Vegas is guaranteeing a Bama win by 6. But they're really, really not. They're guaranteeing a Vegas profit. That's an entirely different issue.

Well of course. They aren't going to operate without a consistent stream of revenue

Except when they clearly don't want even betting. This game is one of those cases, and I doubt the team receiving >66% of the play is over .500 ats in these situations.

Not entirely true. They'll take a stand on a number... See Bucs and Vikings in NFL on Sunday.

Wow, Vegas is going to make a ton of cash on the Ole Miss/Bama game. This game might bankrupt the entire state of Alabama.
