Had a small Mississisession today and checked out the Ole Miss board. Noticed there was a topic about Golson possibly getting suspended?

Either way, if he's matched up on Cooper, I can only pray for his poor little ankles' safety....

Nobody can cover Cooper, so it really doesn't matter if that dude plays or not.

Coop already faced the best DB he will see all year and worked him like a rented mule.

Golson may be better than Hargreaves, IDK.

Some team just needs to try to bracket him the whole game and take their chances with the rest of yall's weapons killing them.

Maybe, maybe not. I would guess that coach Saban and coach Kiffin, along with Cooper, aren't gameplanning around Senquez Golson. They are trying to figure out a way to deal with our safeties, Cody Prewitt and Tony Connor, without getting Cooper carted off on a stretcher after coming across the middle early 1st quarter...Golson wont take Cooper out of the game, Cooper will take himself out the game after meeting Prewitt between the hashmarks. that's my story and Im sticking to it.

Cooper doesn't come across the middle, he runs to the end zone.

LOL... he made VH3 look like a scout team scrub.

Don't blink... you will miss him.

In all seriousness, nobody can lock someone like that down forever so I think he will need the defensive line to get some pressure on Sims. If they can make him get rid of the ball quickly or pressure him away from Cooper's side of the field, it will make Golson's life a lot easier.

You can not say that. I was at that game. 80% of the time he was LEFT uncovered. It wasn't a great move he put on Hargreaves or a show of skill, they just flat out forgot him most of the game.

Part of the problem for OM will be figuring out which side Cooper will be on. Kiffin moves him all over the place. And good luck getting pressure on Sims, that dude is extremely elusive.

Yeah they left the leading WR in the country UNCOVERED for 80% of the game. Probably so.

The excuses made on this board regarding some players are laughable. Prior to that Uf game all we heard on here was that VH3 was the next Neon Deon. He is without question the best corner in the game. Cooper shits on him and the rest of the Uf defense and now they were never that great to begin with. Cooper only dominated because the best corner in CFB forgot about him. He only made plays because he was wide open.
