I really am pumped about this guy. We've been lacking a talent like this at RB for soo long. I knew he was a hell of an athlete coming in but he's really surprised me with just how tough of a runner he is. The best part is he is clearly improving every single game.
Funny story I read the other day. A couple of weeks ago, Josh Malone gave up on a ball during a WR drill at practice. Butch yanks him out of the drill and tells Malone to come to the RB area while Hurd is doing a drill. Butch gets on his megaphone so everyone in Knoxville can hear and says "You see that? That's how a five star is supposed to practice, Josh!"

Kid runs hard. I wasn't sure about his ability before but made a believer out of me Saturday.

Not many negative plays when he gets the ball the last 2 games. He moves the pile and seems to get at least 2 yards even when it's not there.
